Price
Reductions:
When You Should
Consider It
1.
IF YOU CAN NOT AFFORD TO WAIT.
Perhaps you must sell because you are moving to a new job,
you need the money for another home or perhaps it is a probate or
trust sale. If you need the money from the sale of
your home, do what you can to make it the most attractive home on
the market.
2.
IF YOU HAVE PREPARED THE HOME FOR MARKET
Preparing it by doing such things as: beautifying the front of the
home (curb appeal is key) with fresh landscaping & paint, cleaning
away the clutter, painting the interior, arranging furnishings to
show off every space, removing personal items (photographs, religious
items, unique decorating ideas, etc. ) so that the Buyer can see themselves
living in your home.
3.
IF YOU HEAR THAT MANY MORE HOMES WILL COME TO MARKET IN YOUR AREA.
The competition can drive down prices so a reduction before that happens
may get your property SOLD and potentially at a better price even
with the reduction.
